"Koh Wai and Koh Mak"

There are no roads and few tourists, by what interests you here! But how long will remain quiet, is unknown.?

The reason why you will find more privacy in most of the islands of Koh Chang, is that they are privately owned.

Koh Mak although it has become in recent years in more developed. Koh Kod also each too.

Accommodation prices can be expensive in some places (up to 4500 B), but you can get basic cabins only 150 n.

There are many restaurants and bars in Koh Wai. So if you are a person of party, Koh Wai might not suit your taste.

Personally I enjoyed Koh Mak and its crystal clear waters far better than Koh Wai. Also it was much more relaxing.

If you are only interested in a trip to Koh Mak and Koh Wai, several resorts and bungalows in Koh Chang organize trips by boat to the Islands.

Snorkeling tours from Ko Chang usually includes snorkel island around these islands as well.

Koh Mak

Ko Chang Island: Koh Chang, is quite simple.

Koh Mak is situated 20 km from Koh Chang and can be in wooden boats and boats.

Get a boat from Bang Bao Ko Chang Pier to Pier Koh Mak Ao Soun Yai. The boat leaves at 09.00 am and the journey takes 2 hours.

If you want a quiet place to stay in Koh Mak, Suchanaree is a good place. They have simple bungalows with fan and bathroom attached on the beach.

Baan Ing Kao Bungalows

Price per night: 350-450 B

Some of the cheaper bungalows you can get in the island of Koh Mak!

Simple bungalows with fan or air conditioning. All have attached bathrooms and bungalows come with hammocks.

Simple huts on the coast. They have a restaurant that serves local dishes at reasonable prices.

Pakarang Resort

Price per night: 600 - 2000 B

This resource is probably the most beautiful on the island because it has a solid, clean and comfortable bungalows with ocean views.

The bungalows with fan are the cheapest, and all of them have bathrooms.

Good option for flashpackers!

Price per night: 250 B

If you want a cheap place to stay on the island, Koh Wai Paradise offers reasonably clean bungalows with fan and shared bathroom.

Price per night: 300 B

Good feeling is known for its beach bungalows excellent seafood and friendly staff.

If a couple of nights can be odorless, these beach bungalows are well. The bungalows have fan and attached bathroom.

"Ko Chang accommodation"

Although Ko Chang is quite tourisy, you can find cheap cabins and bungalows on the island.

Lonely Beach is the place to go if you want to budget options and strong at the same time parties! The beach is definitely Backpackers of Chang Ko.

Secluded beach is not like the white sandy beach. White sand is packed with people, shops and 7-11. It is very developed and tourist in my opinion.

But lonely beach is much more charming and relaxing.

Probably the cheapest option in the Ko Chang Island! The cabins are very simple and small, fan and shared bathroom.

Block here if you want a simple basis or if you are in a very tight budget.

Ko Chang accommodation: Oasis

Price per night: 350-400 B

Garden cabins cost 350 B and Seaview bungalows cost 400 n.

Bungalows with fan and attached bathroom. Serve delicious Thai and some Western meals in its restaurant (pasta and sandwiches).

If you are looking for a quiet beach in the island of Ko Chang, go to Chai Chet!

Chai Chet cannot be in the top list for most backpackers coming to Koh Chang, because many travelers go to lonely beach.

I stayed close to Chai Chet, a couple of nights and enjoyed the quiet atmosphere on the beach. I really had space around me from the white sand beach, and the beach was quiet and clean.

If you get tired of placing yet, try swings hanging from the Palm trees!

Or take a walk enjoying the excellent view of the ocean.

These are accommodations that I tried Beach Chai Chet:

Price per night: 500 B (Jan 2008)

Spacious rooms with TV, attached bathroom, hot shower, air conditioning and fridge. When he stayed there, there was a lot of Thai tourists and few foreigners. Why do not charge a higher price than this.

5 Minutes walk from the beach of Chai Chet and distance spitting food and supermarket jobs.

Ko Chang accommodation: bungalows Saigars

Price per night: 500 B

I spent a night in Saigars, near the beach of Chai Chet in January 2008 and through an agent in Bangkok.

The staff was great and cozy. Bungalow was very well. It came with a large bed and bedroom connected, but it was very dusty on the floor.

The place was pretty new then and much nothing happened in the evening. I felt that it was the only person in this place.

But now, have a swimming pool and a cool bar.

What I liked about Saigars was its location. To get to the beach of Chai Chet, I had to walk for at least 20 minutes.

At that time, there was no direct access to the beach (which was unaware of).
