In order to prevent the celebration of the marriage, Dayang Sumbi asked Sangkuriang to build a dam in the Citarum River and build a big boat to cross the River, both before the sunrise. Sangkuriang meditated and summoned mythical creatures OGRE - buta hejo or green giant (s) - to do his bidding. Dayang Sumbi saw that the tasks were almost completed and asked its workers to disseminate the cloths of silk rojas to the East of the city, to give the impression of the imminent exit of the Sun.
